DICKENSON BAY

JOVANNA DECEMBER Luxury Locations Group

KERWIN JOHNSON Johnson Taxis and Tours Dickenson Bay is a very nice beach it’s lively, and there’s the floating bar which is very cool, there are also lots of different restaurants on that beach, and you can do horseback riding, and lots of water sports. I also really like Jolly Beach, that long stretch of very fine white sand that you can dip your fingers and toes in is just lovely. It’s also lively from time to time. Then Valley Church Beach is also a favourite, the water is very shallow, you can hang out with your spouse, under the trees if you want some shade, lay down and read a book, and enjoy the view of Jolly Beach across the way.

I have visited a significant number of Antigua & Barbuda’s 365 beaches, but I have not kept track of the exact number. Each beach has its own unique charm and beauty but my favourite is Dickenson Bay. I love the pristine white sand and the crystal clear waters and it also has a vibrant atmosphere with beach bars and restaurants, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. One particularly special memory I have of Dickenson Bay is watching the breathtaking sunset while enjoying a delicious dinner at one of the beachfront restaurants with my family. The combination of the stunning colours in the sky, the sound of the waves, and the delicious food created a truly unforgettable experience.

PEARNS POINT

JOELLE SPENCER Luxury Locations Group I have visited 12 of Antigua & Barbuda’s beaches and Pearns Point is my favourite. The water is always crystal clear, very calm and it is never crowded, so I just get a very tranquil and relaxing atmosphere every time I go. The family picnics that we have at Pearns Point, seeing family members I haven’t seen in a while, socialising, playing games and having a good time on the beach is a very special beach memory for me.

LONG BAY BEACH

Sadly, we never get to the beach because we’re always working, but when we do, we love going to Long Bay Beach the water is really nice and shallow. We would usually go down with friends, take a cooler and lime in the sea with drinks, maybe bring a BBQ and grill some food as the sun goes down. My favourite beach to go to in Antigua is Long Bay Beach. As I live in town, I enjoy the drive over with my family, enjoying the scenery along the way. It has shallow crystal clear waters and the current pushes you back on shore, rather than pulling you out, which means its great for the kids. It’s also quite lively because there are hotels close by, so you get a lot of tourist interactions, which can be fun. KAHYEME BENJAMIN The Perfect Chef
