Happy New Year to all! Remember to submit your photos to the roster so we can have everyone with a picture! If we can get 80% of our members with photos in the roster by January 15 th , everyone with a photo in the roster will win a free drink! If we do not get to 80% then those members with photos in the alphabetical group with the highest percentage of pictures by January 15 th will receive a ticket for a free drink! It does not sound like much but it sure is a fantastic way to meet members! Have some fun with it. The alphabetic groupings are A – C D – I J – M N – R S – Z. So, find any members who need to have a picture loaded and encourage them to submit a nice individual photo! Know that it takes a few days to allow the photo to be visible in the roster. Our Social to Full Upgrade “Sail” is in full swing with Diana Pagach as our newest upgrade! If you are interested in upgrading to Full from the Social Membership Level, please contact me or Cynthia Hultquist, our Membership Coordinator, and we will share the “Sail” with you! You have until January 15th to upgrade as part of the “Sail!” was the commencement speaker at the Kansas State University College of Engineering Commencement Ceremony in December, the Everitts’ alma mater. The photos show Dave with the Dean of Engineering as well as giving the commencement address. Kansas State has an active co-op program where engineering majors get to have real life work experiences as undergraduates. With co-op placements during COVID, I am certain many of these graduating students will always remember their college work experiences. Congratulations, Dave, on this well-deserved honor.

As we are filling up and beginning waitlists, we will have a new part of the column featuring our members. Who better to be featured first than our own Club Chairman Dave Everitt. Dave
I know many of you are active with your alma mater’s alumni groups, sororities, and fraternities. Your Club can host lunches, brunches, or cocktail gatherings. Work with Pam Dorr, our Special Events and Banquets Manager, on planning a fun event for your group. If you are new to the Club, you will soon learn that my favorite part of this column is to introduce you to new members and those members who are upgrading! So, here we go! First, Susan & Tim Smith and Mimi & Frank Conner upgraded from Full to Equity in December! Sal & Linda Farina have returned to us as Equity Members. Patricia Terreri has returned to us as a Social Member. Greg & Margo Folley are returning to us as Full Members on January 1. We are also welcoming Brooke & Dan Franklin as Trial Members. Some of you may have met them on the sunset cruise in December. Please be sure to introduce yourselves to anyone whom you do not recognize! Also, be sure to add your photo to the roster so that everyone will know your name! Remember, it might be worth a free cocktail! Welcome Aboard to all!
