While the faculty member assigned to the student group is not required to be consistently on-site, they must maintain a meaningful presence and engage in appropriate, in-person participation in the student-preceptor-faculty triad. This presence and participation should align with the program policy and guidelines. Readily Available Faculty: A faculty member must be readily available to the Clinical Preceptor and student throughout the learning experience. This availability ensures that the faculty member can address any questions, concerns, or needs that may arise during the practicum. Appropriate faculty-to-student ratios, meaningful faculty presence, and collaboration with Clinical Preceptors and Nurses contribute to a comprehensive evaluation and support system that promotes student success in achieving the course outcomes.
