All students and faculty have access to virtual libraries that support teaching, study, and research needs. Students and faculty in all programs are encouraged to use electronic databases available online through LIRN.net (Library and Information Resources Network). Sumner College also has a physical library on campus. A list of all holdings will be available in the resource room. With the pandemic most students have been accessing the online library rather than coming to the campus. The physical library houses several related to general education coursework and nursing. There is one physical nursing journal housed in the library. Faculty give input into what books, periodicals, or other library resources would be beneficial to enhance mastery of student learning outcomes. The library is assessed annually to ensure content is current. The library is available to all students and has installed computer equipment, workstations, printer, reference text, and learning resources. These resources are
