Clinical Nurses and Clinical Preceptors must hold a valid nursing license at or above the level of licensure that the assigned student is seeking. Clinical Nurses and Clinical Preceptors must hold a valid nursing license in the jurisdiction where the learning experience takes place. This ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and enables them to provide appropriate guidance and supervision to students within the specified jurisdiction. (OR and WA only) The selection of Clinical Nurses and Clinical Preceptors is a collaborative process involving faculty and nursing staff members in leadership roles. These individuals, with their expertise and knowledge, recommend qualified candidates based on their demonstrated nursing competencies. Clinical Nurses and Clinical Preceptors receive written information detailing student preparation and expected learning outcomes for each specific learning experience. This ensures that
