The Nurse Administrator reviews the curriculum for development of new curriculum, collaboration with faculty, implementation of new and updated curriculum, and evaluates the curriculum through test scores, students meeting learning outcomes, and through the level of competency determined with integration of NCL NCLEX Preparation courses. The Nurse Administrator evaluates instructional delivery by direct classroom observation of each faculty member annually and as needed. Nurse Administrator analyzes the results of the student evaluations via Survey Monkey regarding student satisfaction and instructional delivery. Reviews NCLEX reports and placement data with Management, Outcomes Committee, Director of Education, Faculty and the President. The Nurse Administrator carries the administrative responsibility and decision-making authority to effectively plan, organize, lead or implement, control, and evaluate the excellence of the mission and philosophy of college and program, through long-range planning of goals and faculty governance. The Nurse Administrator has authority and responsibility for the development and administration of the program and adequate time and resources to fulfill the role responsibility. The Administrative Assistant to the Nurse Administrator aids (administrative tasks) in carrying out institutional authority and administrative responsibility.
