(c) Liaison with executive administrators and administrative and student service units of the institution; As the liaison with executive administrators, the Department Chair of Nursing actively engages in regular discussions to represent the nursing programs and advocate for their needs and interests. The Department Chairs provide updates on the status and performance of our nursing programs, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement to the college that I share with the college President, faculty, and staff. By fostering a strong relationship with executive administrators, it ensures that they are aware of the contributions and value of our nursing programs to the local community and the state of Oregon. The Department Chairs is the liaison with administrative and student service units by working closely with departments such as admissions, financial aid, registrar's office, and academic affairs. Review of job placement and advancement paperwork shows evidence of the Nurse Administrators recommendation for faculty appointment, promotion, and retention. Nurse Administrator attends OSBN board meetings when applicable to keep up to date on regulations. The Nurse Administrator attends annual Deans and Directors meetings hosted by theOSBN.
