(c) The Nurse Administrator works closely with Career Services and the Director of Education to ensure a positive experience in both the term clinical placement and the practicum placement during the student’s final term. The Nurse Administrator collaborates with the Director of Clinical Placement to assist in securing new practicum sites in clinics both in Oregon and Washington which have provided new and challenging experiences for students. (d) Institutional Policy decisions are governed by the accrediting body (ABHES), by the Office of Degree Authorization, by the DoE and the OSBN. Within these limits, the college has developed policies and procedures in which all programs must abide. Policies specific to the practical nursing program
were developed in 2008 when the program launched, and modified as
