(5) The Nurse Administrator must have sufficient time provided for carrying out administrative responsibilities. The Department Chair allocates approximately 10% of her time to classroom teaching with the remaining 90% of her time being allocated to the administrative responsibilities of the nursing programs. Teaching load: The Nurse Administrator determines their own teaching schedule and communicates with the Director of Registration and Instructional Design. These administrative responsibilities include curriculum development, faculty supervision, budgeting, strategic planning, policy implementation, student support, and other duties as necessary.
