(3) In the event a program fails to maintain the NCLEX® standards above, a program must provide the Board a written plan, to evaluate, improve, and monitor graduate performance on the licensing examination as directed by the Board representative. The college took proactive steps to address the issue of falling below the required benchmarks for first attempt NCLEX pass rates. The college's decision to update their curriculum and submit an NCLEX improvement plan demonstrates their commitment to ensuring student success and meeting the standards set by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN). By revising and updating NCLEX prep courses, the college aimed to better support students in their preparation for the NCLEX exam, with the ultimate goal of enabling them to pass the exam on their first attempt.
