Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment (ADD) Benefits You Receive
At no cost to you, Thomas College offers you employer - sponsored Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance from Unum. As long as you are eligible, you are automatically enrolled and can receive coverage of $50,000 without having to answer any questions about your health. This is referred to as the Guarantee Issue Amount. The AD&D insurance amount is also $50,000. This insurance can help provide for your family if something happens to you. You must choose a beneficiary or beneficiaries - the person(s) or entity you name who will receive the proceeds from your life or AD&D insurance in the event of your death or injury.
