Keeping on the topic of money… As we head into the last month of our fiscal year, we look to be pretty close to our operational budget and ahead of net profit for the year. We are close to $500,000 better in operations over last year because of all the clean up we had to do. Kudos to the department heads for tightening their belts; especially the F & B department who are a combined $350,000 better than last year. That money was diverted back in the golf course and why it looks better than ever! Our membership drive over the past three months has brought in close to 50 new golfing members and 16 Social members. We’ve had 15 who upgraded to a golfing membership and all but two are staying as golfing members! Overall, our combined dues line is up about $28,000 a month which is great news!!! We’ve also had numerous past members rejoin with them all saying they heard the club was back on track. I might be biased, but I also think the energy around the club right now is very high.There’s good reason for that, we have a solid bank account, a plan on how to reinvest in our facilities and a growing membership – life is GOOD!
