GM’S ARTICLE RICK SCHULTZ, PGA, CCM GENERAL MANAGER/COO

The summer season is officially upon us as the pool and Café have opened and the Men’s Member Guest and the Ladies Invitational are coming up soon! New staff are being hired, and trained, and our social events are ramping up.

One of the first major events is the Terrace Grand Opening on June 7 and this year we have Joan Gamble giving us a Hulu show - you’ll want to come see that! th

Our golf programming is also in full swing with the Partner’s Par 3 events, Men’s League, Men’s Club and Ladies Wednesday Play Nights all in midstream. Due to demand, we are bringing back our Centennial tournament with a new name, the Founder’s Tournament, which will be an annual event going forward. It’s a four-person scramble with lots of prizes, games and treats for you on the course. To help make sure you play your best, Tracy, Ryan, Laura and Kyle have created some new instructional programs which have been well received. They’ve also got our junior golf programming jump started. No matter if you are just starting to play, or have been playing for decades, they have programs to fit your needs. The golf course is looking great and the new red tees have been an overwhelming hit. The Board also agrees as they have earmarked more money to go towards additional tee renovations on the Rogue and Oaks course this fall. All our new maintenance equipment has also been a game changer for the crew as it cuts better, faster and with some new equipment, able to mow new low cut surround areas around the greens; those have also been well received.
