Greetings First South Florida Missionary Baptist District Association!
Profound thanks to our precious Prince of Peace, Jesus, for this privilege to be present as we proceed into this session with pleasure.
Hallelujah to our LORD Jesus for the hospitality He is giving to us through this host Church, “The First Providence Missionary Baptist Church and their Pastor, The Reverend Deryl A. Jones, (our devoted Dean).
We bow in humble submission to our most merciful Master, Jesus, for giving to us our mission-minded Moderator, The Reverend Dr. Rayford Harper, his wife, Sister Jacqueline Harper, his cabinet, the Congress Presidents, their wives, their Congresses, Auxiliary Heads, their Auxiliaries, and all Delegates.
We thank our Jesus for your coming near and far to give and to get, leaving Bartow, First Providence and First South Florida Missionary Baptist District Association and returning to our mission better also. To Jesus be the glory.
Through many dangers, toils, and snares (Helene and Milton), we have already come, and with Jesus we shall overcome this hurricane season also. God’s Grace (Jesus) has brought us safe thus far and God’s Grace (Jesus) will bring us through.
Finally, we give special thanks to our LORD for the challenges of this season’s theme “Fulfilling the Great Commission from Mark’s Perspective” Mark 16:15-18, that broadens our horizons, because there are two sides to every story. We give special thanks to our Master Jesus for the wisdom and witnessing we received from Matthew’s side of the story, (Matthew 28:16-20). Therefore, it is time now to focus and fulfill Mark’s side of the story (Mark 16:14-18). AMEN? AMEN. AND AMEN!
