Nomination 3) It is such an honor to have this opportunity to nominate Genevieve for this recognition. She has been with CWU since last fall and from the moment she arrived has been an incredible asset. Being welcoming is part of who she is - always ensuring our employees and visitors feel comfortable and know where to go. She is an incredible resource to the group. Her ability to move through processes and the grace she gives while helping with efforts including hiring is remarkable. She is clearly proud to be a Wildcat and is very supportive of the campus initiatives. If you need something from her, you can be assured to receive a response almost immediately, and she is very careful to ensure that things like surveys, meetings, and events include as many groups and individuals as possible. Genevieve is truly one of a kind. She is one of the most incredible people that I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with. She is beyond deserving of this nomination. Thank you, Genevieve, for everything you do!!!! Nicole Ellinger Wildcat Way: Welcoming, Inclusive, Knowledgeable, Responsive, Proud Nomination 1) Nicole is extremely knowledgeable and such a great person to work with. Since I first met her, she has always been extremely welcoming and a main contributor to our great HR work environment. She knows almost anything and everything about payroll and other HR functions. People from multiple departments go to her with questions and she always has the correct answer and is happy to help them. She has also been a part of numerous CWU committees and is proud to be a Wildcat. Nicole is a great coworker and should be acknowledged for all of her hard work. Nomination 2) Nicole is always willing to take the time to walk you through any payroll complication or issue, and she is always willing to help. She is so kind and helpful that you never feel like you’re being a burden or putting her out in any way! As a new GM to CWU, Nicole has answered so many of my questions, and although it’s over a phone call, I can always sense her teamwork and welcoming demeanor. Thank you, Nicole! You make a big difference!!!!
well as going out of her way to teach me a little extra. She has been the best mentor both in and outside of work and no words can truly describe how kindhearted Connie is. Connie takes pride in her work to make sure she is precise and accurate. For Connie to have so many roles large and small, she always manages to do everything with a good attitude as well as being sharp and precise. Genevieve Doshier Wildcat Way: Welcoming, Inclusive, Knowledgeable, Responsive, Proud Nomination 1) Genevieve is the definition of welcoming. Every time someone needs any help on Mitchell floor she goes above and beyond her work responsibilities to make sure concerns are taken care of. When it comes to inclusive, where do I begin. She goes out of her way to make sure nobody is left out of meetings, events, team events, and if someone is left out, (which is very rare on Genevieve's watch) She makes it right in the most positive way. She is a bright light that a lot of us here on Mitchell floor would be lost without her. She is knowledgeable in ways that departments can work better through her suggestions and communication. If there are skills she needs to learn, she does it and isn't afraid of getting her hands dirty and learning the unknown. This goes hand in hand with being responsive. She always takes point in anything she does but also is a team player. She doesn't hesitate in taking action to help others to make their lives easier. If you ask me, she is the definition of the Wildcat Way and nobody is more deserving. She comes to work proud every day because she gets to help students, faculty, and anyone in need. It's an honor to be able to share the same floor with her. She makes CWU a better place. Nomination 2) Genevieve has been such an amazing addition to our crazy Mitchell Hall group! Just in the short time she's been here, Genevieve has facilitated meetings and candidate interviews, guided us through a major restructure/redesign of office space, and volunteers gladly for tasks that make the rest of us groan! Mitchell Hall sometimes feels like a fortress to guests, and Genevieve welcomes everyone with an enthusiastic smile and a kind word. Thank you, Genevieve, for keeping us all grounded and sane.
Welcoming, Inclusive, Knowledgeable, Responsive, & Proud
