Held at the Center of the Arts in Jackson Hole, the performances will include Balanchine’s Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux and pas de deux from William Forsythe’s Blake Works I, Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella, and Helgi Tomasson’s Swan Lake, in addition to Violin Concerto by SF Ballet Choreographer in Residence Yuri Possokhov.

Thank you for joining Dancers’ Workshop for this year’s exciting Gala Celebration. After last year’s 50th anniversary Golden Gala we asked ourselves “What’s next?” and oh so quickly, here we are again! All of us at Dancers’ Workshop are honored to host and present San Francisco Ballet, along with their Grammy award-winning orchestra. This will be SFB’s debut performance in Wyoming. We choose to annually celebrate in the height of the summer season, truly an extraordinary time here in Jackson. A time when doors and windows are opened, wildflowers explode, greens get greener and the air feels cool against the warmth of the sun. I particularly enjoy our fleeting summer because of the beauty and the solace of working in my garden. Sometimes I relate my 25 years of experience as Artistic Director at Dancers’ Workshop with the relationship I have with my cherished garden. Both are places of many different kinds of beauty. Being at the helm of Dancers’ Workshop requires passion, time shared, patience and caring kindness, along with a strong commitment to excellence. My garden demands the same. This is the time of year when we can be grateful and honored to share the growth and beauty of this organization together. We could not do this without you.

Thank you all for your support and sharing your love of beauty, art and dance!
