TERMS & CONDITIONS BIDDING: Each animal on which there are two bids will be sold to the highest bidder. TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash. Checks are accepted and must be payable to Kimball Livestock Exchange LLC the day of the sale. DISPUTES: The auctioneer will settle any bid disputes by declaring all off and reselling the animal in question. SEMEN INTEREST: Retaining 1/3 semen interest on all bulls unless otherwise stated. HANDLING: All animals will have health certificates. Those not Bangs vaccinated will be tested. All animals will be in good health and examined by our vet. A vet will be available sale day. BREEDER’S GUARANTEE: All animals sold are guaranteed breeders by the owner. Any animal that has not proven itself a breeder within six months after date of sale, if in healthy condition, may be returned to seller at the buyer’s expense. Should the animal fail to prove a breeder, the seller - at his option, may either replace the animal with another of equal quality in full settlement and satisfaction of all claims or give credit for the next year’s sale at Christensen Charolais Ranch’s sale. All complaints regarding breeding difficulties must be reported in writing to the seller within the time limit as specified above and in good condition. TSI EXPLANATION Terminal Sire Index (TSI) The AICA Terminal Sire Index (TSI) is a formal method of combining Expected Progeny Differences (BWT, WWT, YWT, REA, HCW, MARB and FAT)-into one single value on which to base selection decisions. The TSI uses estimates of the genetic relationships between traits with an economic default value based on three year rolling USDA data. The TSI represents a dollar index per terminal progeny produced for a bull in the AICA database, ranking them for profit potential. This dollar index is to be interpreted much like single trait EPD. For example, if Sire A’s index is $191.66 and Sire B’s index is $200.00, then we would expect Sire B’s offspring to average $8.34 more net return than Sire A’s offspring. This bull was our pick and the high seller on the North Grove Charolais bull sale in 2024. To say we are super excited about this one is an understatement. We’ve calved out heifers the last two years that were bred to him. The calves came very easy and got up super fast like we have never seen before. He adds calving ease, length of body, performance, carcass, and a stellar EPD set. We think he is the best Tank son out there and best son of North Grove’s New Standard donor that has produced 69 registered progeny. She’s been a key cow in their program. This is a Combat son that since the day he was born has just been an absolute stud. You don’t want to miss out on this one. It is going to be hard to find a bull this complete. He is deep, big hipped, stretchy, smooth made bull, with a lot of eye appeal. He has 11 EPD’s that rank in the top 30 percent of the breed. He started with an 88 pound birthweight and grew to an adjusted 840 pound weaning weight at a 117 ratio. His mother was a first calf Lock n Load daughter that was neat uddered and very pretty. She is my favorite female from 2023. It doesn’t stop there either. This bull has an amaz- ing granddam that Jamie flushed. She has produced three bulls that went on to work on purebred herds.
