Grandview is an interesting and unique individual. Grandview combines two elite individuals. He has become an elite herdsire and has been widely used across the breed. His dam has become one of the most, if not the most, talked about and sought after females in the Charolais breed. She was the top selling female at the legendary M6 dispersal for $36,000 and then a couple years later was the pick of the Grand Hills Cattle cowherd. She has had many popular bulls and heifers. We believe Grandview is her best son. He excels in performance and carcass. He recorded a 150 IMF ratio as a yearling! Sons are topping sales all around the country. We just started calving daughters of him and they are exceptional females with a great feminine look and nice udders. We unfortunately lost Grandview last fall and limited semen is available. She has two sons working in purebred herds, Soreide Charolais in North Dakota and the other working for Lewis Charolais and Strnad Charolais in Kansas. One sold for $28,000 on the 2021 Eggleston sale. She has an impressive 108 weaning weight ratio on 7 calves.
