Acknowledgement As we created this handbook, the authors drew not only from their own personal electric utility experience, but from a variety of industry sources, including IEEE Std C57.105™-2019, RUS specifications, and numerous manufacturer handbooks, spanning at least the last 70 years. We further discussed this effort with industry professionals who work daily to provide reliable, cost-effective electric service to their customers/members.
