“I chose to study at Trinity because I had the option to do the course over 3 years and it was accessible, and I knew staff that had completed the course. The course also allowed me to pursue a promotion, which I achieved. When I saw this course, I knew it would fit in with family and work life especially with the option to study part- time over a 3-year period to complete the Diploma and then move forward with the Master’s programme. I had been thinking about going back to further education for a long time and this course gave me the opportunity to realise the idea. The diversity of the subjects covered allowed for enhanced critical thinking and development of nursing research. The course was very adaptable and would benefit many roles within Children's Nursing. The tutors were very approachable and there was a great rapport between the group of students, who were from many different backgrounds. There was a good support network and overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it and have used what I learnt in my current role.”
