Nursing/Midwifery Advanced Practice Master’s/Postgraduate Diploma Part-time, 2 Years Master’s/Postgraduate Diploma/Certificate Part-time, 3 Years

Brief Overview Develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to practice as an Advanced Nurse/Midwife Practitioner at the highest professional standards. You will study key concepts of person-centred care, autonomy and empowerment, professional ethics, consultation and collaboration and professional leadership. Structure (Timeline/Days in Class) Postgraduate Certificate: Class generally one day per week. Master’s/Postgraduate Diploma: Year One: Commences with a full week of classes in September and thereafter generally one to two days per week for the remainder of the academic year. You are required to work in your area of practice for a minimum of 500 hours under the supervision of your mentor. Year Two: Attendance at classes throughout the academic year. If completing the Master’s, you will also carry out research and the writing of a dissertation.
