THE K I N G ’S BUS I NES S heart of the Bridegroom. (3) The marvel—a King’s Son united . to saved sinners. (4) Many are the called, but few the chosen ones. (5) The wedding garment is woven from the righteousness of God. (6) The guests who made light of it are doomed to eternal darkness. ( 7 ) If you are a good servant you will extend the gracious invitation to all. (8) Rejecters of Christ talk glibly now, but in that day they will be tongue-tied. (9) We need only to know God in Christ in order to love Him. (10) You are included in the invita tion. Will you be there? This lesson suggests two things necessary to life— First——Union; Second—Food. First, love brings union; second, sustenance through food is nec- LESSON essary. When we ILLUSTRATION pass along thé road W. H. Pike we see a house on the hillside. A young couple have just been married and have moved in there. This is union but they must look after the food to sustain life. All true Christians have a union with Christ; only a few seem to think their souls should be fed. Jeremiah Said, “Thy words vWere found, and I did eat them: and they were unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart.” Jer. 15:16. Bible Illustration.—-What a wedding that must have been when Ruth, the Gentile Moabitess, was married to Boaz, the wealthy Hebrew Redeemer. Here was a Gentile united to the Redeemer of Israel. And that union resulted in an offspring. His name was Obed, which means Worshipper. Would that all the Gentile Christians who are united to ¡the Heavenly Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ, might have wor shippers as a result of their union. Subject Illustration.

Marriage Suggests Joy.-—It was my privilege to sit in the home of a newly, wed couple and to be the first person to partake of their hospitality in their new home. You could see joy in the twinkle of the eye and the- expression of their faces. There was joy in their conversation. There was an atmosphere of joy almost contagious. Nearly all things in this world begin with jo y why should not ¡the beginning of a home? Marriage Suggests Responsibility,'—. Every house and shack you see as you ride along on the train, whether it be a mansion or a hovel, every house tells of a struggle. There is joy iu union and communion, but there is the struggle for existence. The union means offspring and the little ones must be cared for. The vigils of sleepless nights and hours of care; ¡the times of prayer for wisdom and guidance to teach the children how to live. The patience and responsibility that make Up a home. Shoulder .the responsibility, young people. ^ Weddings Suggest Preparation.—-The time, the place, the clothes, *the invi tations, the bridesmaids, the best man, the ushers, and not the least, the min ister, the flower girls, the friends and last of all the guests. But this prepara tion is only for binding the pair in wedlock. There is yet the preparation for the wedding feast. What shall be served, who shall serve it, how shall it be served and where shall they 'be served, how much shall be needed and who shall be invited are questions that come up for solution. What prepara tion Jesus has been making for the past two thousand years for that, future Wedding Feast, and we Christians will be ¡there as the bride. How interested we ought to be in all the preparation for our coming wedding. Also how interested we ought to be in sending out the invitations to those we wish to have there.
