THE K I N G ’S BUS I NES S

Matt. 5:10. “Rejoice ye in that day and leap for joy; for behold your reward is great in heaven.”—Luke 6:23. (2) His Heirship with Christ. “If children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.” —-Rom. 8:17. “If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him.”— 2 Tim. 2:12. IS IT BEAL WITH YOU? No man need feel ashamed of the Gospel unless the Gospel he has is one to be ashamed of. Men will bear a man who has been gripped by a vital truth, who has gripped the Gospel, and one whom the Gospel grips. They want to know if there is a power beyond their own power to save from sin^^from mor al rotting; that can keep a man clean who is living in evil surroundings and control the animal in him"; that can put a love in his heart that expels hate and produces a Willingness of soul to go to any lengths to help men, and honor his Lord. Men of any religion and of no religion, will hear a man who has some thing to say on these lines in a way that is not mere book theory but is a personal testimony.—Frank W. Ober. HOUNDED FOB MONEY There are many people who Contribute to the Lord’s work in about the way a certain business man handed out money to his wife. He complained that his wife was continually hounding him for money. Morning, noon and night she wanted money. “What does she do with all this money?” a friend asked. “I don’t know,” he replied. “I haven’t gotten around to give her any yet.” The people who -do the most complaining about the financial calls of Christian work are generally those who have given little or nothing to it.
