ing attitude toward God. And only through these two things can we keep in the love o f God. The first of the two things mentioned is prayer, and the second is the study of the Bible. Many Receive Blessing Numerous letters are continually received bearing wit ness to the splendid service of KTBI. Following are some samples: From Pasadena, Calif. — “ I want to thank you heart ily for the messages that come to us every day. There are days I could not get through were it not for the Renewing of faith and courage that comes through your ministry.” From Glendale, Calif. — “ We want you to know how thankful we are that Biola has an outstanding message. It is a joy to recommend Biola to all young people seeking instruction and preparation for Christian service.” From San Fernando, Calif. — “ I have just bought a radio and am greatly interested in your messages. Much blessing is received daily.” From Whittier, Calif. — “ I listen to your messages every morning and appreciate them greatly. They help me in my Sunday-school work. I am a teacher of an adult Sunday-school class of 45 members.” From Burbank, Calif. — “ I am getting your teachers’ training course over the radio and enjoying it very much- I find it helpful in a direct way.” From Los Angeles, Calif .—“ I am one of your regular listeners. Am a busy mother and Sunday-school teacher. I can not get away from home much, so .have to depend upon the help that I get from KTBI.”

If we would keep in a loving attitude toward Him, certain things must be avoided and some things should' be actively done. First: We must shun whatever would dampen our affections for God and His cause. Second: We must avoid indulgence in a worldly spirit. “ Separation,” in the Scriptures, means all that it implies; but it does not mean the surrender of the proper, legitimate, happy things of life. It does positively mean all that is unchristlike and unchristianlike. Third: Avoid all parleying with temptation. Tam pering with temptation is as safe as skimming the edge o f a whirlpool with a canoe, or like dodging bullets— it will get us sooner or later. Fourth: We must not compromise with sin. There is a false sentiment prevalent about choosing between two evils. It is a wrong sentiment. Don’t choose either. Sin is a heart disease and is deadly. Compromise with sin always brifigs disaster and destroys Christian experience. There are two things to be observed to keep in a lov-
