Learn the fundamentals of illustrative drawing with pencil, ink and watercolour media. The in- structor will lead you through demonstrations and provide individual guidance to build confidence and develop techniques. No previous experience required; please bring a sketch book and pencil. Historical Tour & Skate Join New Westminster Museum as we take a tour of Queen’s Park Arena and learn about its fascinat- ing history starting with its beginnings in 1930 as a civic auditorium. Follow up this historical tour with a skate while you listen to organ music just as they used to play in the arena during the 50’s and 60’s. Skating instructors will be on hand with tips to help you get back to your original skating skill set or help introduce you to the world of skating in a safe con- trolled environment. Finish off your morning with a delicious hot chocolate and treat supplied by our concession services. Skates will be available for use.
