Waveform ® Gaussian A12
PRODUCT OVERVIEW The Waveform ® Gaussian A12 Panel was developed using RPG’s powerful shape optimization and aperiodic modulation technology, which optimizes sound diffusion while providing a given shape motif. The panels have an aluminum skin with a honeycomb core, creating a lightweight bell-shaped appearance designed to increase intelligibility and enhance musical clarity and intimacy. When absorptive material is placed into the rear cavity of the assembled unit in an overhead canopy configuration, significant reverberation time reduction in the space can also be accomplished. This symmetrical Waveform ® Gaussian A12 Panel can also be arrayed to reduce periodicity effects and be installed on walls or ceilings. SIZING • Standard Panel: 4' W x 4' L x 12" D • Material Thickness: 3/4" • Each panel weighs approx. 2.00 lbs/ft 2 Should the project require a higher unit mass, 1 and 2 lbs/sf MLV (mass loaded vinyl) backings are standard options. CORE FIRE RATING Non-Combustible FINISH The Waveform® Gaussian A12 Panel is available standard in a white powder-coated finish. Units can be painted in custom colors or veneered with natural wood

Overhead mounting of the Waveform ® Gaussian A12 Panel is achieved by suspending units from embedded eye-bolts using RPG-supplied engineered cables and hardware. Each panel is designed to hang freely as a separate “cloud” or tied together with brackets along the long or short edge to create a canopy.
