This session provided valuable insights into current food trends, product innovations, and efficient supply chain management. The practical demonstrations showcased how PFD’s diverse product range can be used to create innovative and cost-effective menu options, reinforcing their role as a comprehensive hospitality supplier. Food Services captivated • Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) Presentation and Rum Tasting: CCEP shared insights into their beverage portfolio, highlighting how their diverse offerings can delight customers and suit every occasion. The event also featured a rum tasting, showcasing RATU Signature Rum and BATI Spiced Rum. • Digital Marketing Panel Conversation: Another highlight was a dynamic panel conversation moderated by our new corporate partners, Kings Digital. Amr Elsayed from Kings Digital interviewed some of our valued THA members: Alexia Kalis from Kalis Group, Rob Jubb from Shipwright Arms, and Emily Pacconi from Hadley’s Hotels. The discussion delved into crucial digital marketing topics for the hospitality sector.

• Asahi/CUB’s Market Update: Held at the Kingston Hotel, Boris Gerasimon – Sales State Manager -Asahi/Carlton & United Breweries (CUB), delivered a very insightful update on the market. Their presentation highlighted market leadership, brand strength, and a strong focus on consumer understanding and category growth. They also emphasised their commitment to responsible alcohol consumption and sustainable practices, showcasing their broad portfolio, which includes premium international and craft brands. • Cascade Brewery Bar’s Success Story: Ben Lawrie - Cascade Brewery Bar Venue manager shared the remarkable journey of the Cascade Brewery Bar. He detailed how new management and a refined business strategy have led to significant improvements. Their success hinges on a strong customer focus, enhancing food and beverage offerings, improving service delivery, and strategic marketing to attract and retain patrons, demonstrating notable growth for the iconic Tasmanian establishment.

We wrapped up the day with a “Best Pouring Competition,” expertly run by Doug Brown from the Asahi Brewery Fresh team. Hotel Bruny poured their way to victory, taking home a fantastic prize of an Asahi keg of beer, courtesy of the sponsor.
