2023 Spark Program

WELCOME TO SPARK 2023 Partners, For eight years, UMA has hosted its annual Spark Summit to engage our employer partners and to thank all of you for welcoming our graduates to your teams. This helps build a brighter future for healthcare in our nation. Each year, we catch ourselves saying that this is going to be the best Spark Summit yet. That is just as true this year. As our partnerships grow year after year, we continue to find better ways to improve communication and processes as our relationships grow deeper. This year, our Spark Summit theme is Employee Engagement — Redefined. We will explore how leading with care can impact employee satisfaction and retention. Under this theme, we are offering two tracks: Learning & Development and Culture & Engagement. We have learned that it takes collaboration and trust, both internally and externally, to capture the best strategies that will continue to elevate our teams and our overall approach to customer care. We look forward to tackling these together to build a stronger healthcare system for the future.

Over the next few days, we will:

• Hear from customer management experts about industry trends and the research that is driving organizational change. • Participate in a “Best Practices Workshop” where we will share case studies that highlight how strong partnerships have changed the way we all work together to provide a better customer experience. • Learn about prevention and partnership for wellness, diversity, equity, and inclusion; and how to combat burnout in today’s market. • Discover opportunities to attract and retain employees, as well as how to upskill their knowledge for future career pathing. • Listen to a Technology Talk from our Titanium Sponsor, Cloudlinx, and explore resources to improve outcomes in our first-ever educational vendor hall. • Recognize your outstanding support in placing Ultimate Medical Academy graduates in life-changing career paths and honor our 2023 UMA Spark Award Winners.

• Have some UMA-zing fun!!

We look forward to spending time with you this week and thank you for being the spark that ignites the careers of UMA graduates.
