A former OB-GYN nurse and published biotech researcher, she brings firsthand clinical experience to the development of CerviLite, a groundbreaking LiDAR-based technology designed to replace subjective cervical examinations with objective measurement and mapping. Her leadership has earned recognition including the Startup World Cup Southwest Regional Championship, the REALIZE Grand Prize, and SBDC LaunchPad honors. Rima Nashashibi
Rima Nashashibi is an internationally recognized nonprofit executive, community leader, and public policy advocate with more than 30 years of leadership experience across the corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors. She is the Founder and President of Global Hope 365, a California-based nonprofit dedicated to preventing human trafficking, child marriage, and gender-based violence through education, community partnerships, and public policy. She also serves as a Commissioner on the Orange County Commission on the Status of Women and Girls, advancing initiatives that support women and girls throughout the region. Prior to founding Global Hope 365, Rima spent two decades with American International Group (AIG) in regional and national leadership roles spanning business development, strategic marketing, client relations, and operations. Her executive experience managing large teams, multimillion-dollar portfolios, and strategic initiatives continues to inform her collaborative leadership approach. Under her leadership, Global Hope 365 has become a voice in public awareness, prevention, and policy advocacy, working across government, education, healthcare, law enforcement, business, and community organizations. She has testified before state legislatures across the United States, helped advance policies protecting women and children, and founded the California Coalition to End Child Marriage. Rima is passionate about empowering future leaders and building sustainable community solutions through education, advocacy, and cross-sector collaboration.
Mary Poffenroth, PhD
Marilyn Schlitz, Ph.D., MBA, MA is an accomplished social scientist, award-winning author, and master teacher. She has conducted clinical, laboratory and field-based research into consciousness, transformation, and healing. Her books include Living Deeply: The Art and Science of Transformation in Everyday Life (with Cassandra Vieten and Tina Amorok): Consciousness and Healing: Integral Approaches to Mind Body Medicine (with Tina Amorok and Marc Micozzi); Death Makes Life Possible (and companion film by same title, with Deepak Chopra); and Love Study (A Novel). Marilyn has taught at Stanford, Harvard, and Trinity Universities and is currently Professor of Transpersonal Psychology at Sofia University. She is also CEO/President Emeritus and Senior Fellow at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. Schlitz has published hundreds of articles in scholarly journals and popular publications, and has lectured extensively in diverse venues, including the United Nations, Smithsonian Institution, Commonwealth Club, and community groups across the world. Her current research focuses on grief and transformation in the psychomantium. Marilyn Schlitz, PhD Mary holds a doctorate in psychology and three master’s degrees (biology, psychology, and science communication) and has taught nearly 20,000 university students as biology faculty at San Jose State University since 2007. A Salzburg Global Fellow, Mary has spoken at TEDx London, Harvard, Google X Labs, TEDNext, and SXSW, INBOUND, and her work has been featured in legacy media outlets such as TIME magazine, Forbes, Science, Entrepreneur, the Wall Street Journal, Cosmopolitan, SUCCESS Magazine, SELF, and Fast Company. Dr. Mary Poffenroth, a biopsychologist, fear/courage researcher, and first-generation college student, began her career in the astrobiology unit at NASA Ames Moffett Field, supporting payload experiments for STS-107, the 28th flight of Space Shuttle Columbia.
