Research excellence scholarships and awards As part of Swansea’s commitment to supporting the very best researcher talent we offer a number of fully funded PhDs across disciplines through our flagship programmes: the Swansea University Research Excellence Scholarships (SURES) and Swansea University Strategic Partner Research Scholarships (SUSPRS). Both scholarships offer a number of fully funded PhD places to researchers wanting to develop their ideas, alongside providing excellent supervision and equipping doctoral researchers with the skills to complete their thesis within three years.
