How did your degree prepare you for your career?
It gave me core knowledge about English shipping law, ability to work under pressure and developed my legal writing skills. What advice would you give to those who want to pursue your career? It was the right decision to come to the UK to study international shipping law, as it was heavily based on English shipping law. Swansea University is a very good place to learn about this field. If you want to be a hard-core shipping lawyer in the future, you are advised to learn more about ships, their structure, history, and technical knowledge. It would be great if you found some captain friends to tell you about their sea adventures too!

I chose my degree based on course content, I wanted a degree that had a nice cross-over of environmental modelling and knowledge on practical environmental science and climate change.
