METROFLOR introduces three TREND-DRIVEN WPC COLLECTIONS
M etroflor extended its trend-driven approach to new product development to create three new design-driven, feature-rich WPC collections - French Quarter, Genesis Authentics and Genesis Silhouette - reflecting the insight of intensive trend analysis by its Director of Design, Residential Briana Countryman. Earthen Elegance & Attentive Zen: Goodbye, Grey According to Briana, today’s trends are currently in a lightning round of exceptionally clean décors and sophisticated colors. Metroflor identified the Attentive Zen and Earthen Elegance trends that beautifully embody elegantly clean looks inspired by nature’s timeless splendor. Attentive Zen focuses on the mindful, subtle, and soothing aspects of design while Earthen Elegance brings it home with an exceptional and unmatched color palette. Think Mediterranean Coast meets California High Desert: rich golden sunset hues, full spectrum terracottas, natural blonde tones and striking taupes. “This is quite the departure from the cold greys of just five years ago,” she noted. “Grey had its time in the spotlight as the ‘color du jour’; it dominated fashion, décor and automobiles for over a decade. In a post-pandemic world, we needed as a society to lighten and brighten the overall aesthetic and bring the outdoors in to boost our spirits.” Moving forward into ‘25/’26 trends, Briana sees the progression of the Attentive Zen and Earthen Elegance trends swinging towards more rustic western looks for which we can thank runway fashion and music.
