Australia and India have resumed negotiations for an ambitious Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) which will build on ECTA and address broader cross-cutting issues, such as digital trade, government procurement and new areas of cooperation. Prime Minister Albanese and Prime Minister Modi have called for swift negotiations and an early conclusion of an ambitious CECA, to realise the full potential of the bilateral economic relationship.
