ELIMINATION PERIOD The Elimination Period is the number of consecutive days at the beginning of your period of total disability for which no benefits are payable. Each new Benefit Period is subject to a new Elimination Period. Only the Elimination Period in effect at the time the loss commences applies. Elimination Period Options - Accident and Sickness 14, 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365* days *In VA, 365 days is not offered. This convenient, affordable disability income plan will provide benefits if you become totally disabled and are unable to work due to a covered injury or illness. Partial Disability The partial disability benefit helps you transition back into full-time work after suffering a disability. If, after being totally disabled, you remain partially disabled and are only able to work 4 hours per day, this plan will still pay you half of your selected monthly benefit for up to three months. Wavier of Premium Premiums are waived after 90 days of Total or Presumptive Disability and while you are receiving benefits. BENEFITS Total Disability
