We do this because we believe in doing what’s right by our Members, a commitment that remains as strong today as it did when we got our start back in 1952. So when recent concerns surrounding the debt ceiling reached an all-time high and it looked like the government might default, we sprung into action to make sure our Members were taken care of. Without hesitation, we pledged to post direct deposits for military and Department of Defense personnel so they weren’t left high and dry due to the government’s inaction. That’s what we call COMMITMENT! We’re also committed to helping Members create a successful financial future. We know saving isn’t always easy. But it’s an important step to put you one step closer to making your financial dreams come true. That’s why earlier this year, we helped Members stash some cash with a special rate on our 12-month Saver Certificate, which is designed to reward a habit of savings. We were thrilled to help over 3,500 Members invest more than $1.7 million to create a stronger foundation for their futures. And that’s in just one month! This unique product allows our Members to continue adding to their savings throughout the year and earning more every time they do!
