Day 8: Jaipur - Agra Take a scenic coach ride to Agra, where a network of rickshaws and jalebis vendors filling the air with sweet aromas await. Day 9: Agra Begin today at the magnificent Taj Mahal. This iconic mausoleum is surrounded by ornamental gardens and is a breathtaking spectacle. Also visit the UNESCO Travel by train to Chandigarh, from here drive past rugged mountains to the hill station of Shimla, which enjoys incredible views of the Himalayan mountains. Day 12: Shimla Depart Shimla for a day in the neighbouring hill station of Kufri, nestled at the Himalayan foothills. Day 13: Shimla - Chandigarh Embark the UNESCO recognised Toy Train to Dharampur Station, it offers dramatic views along its winding course through forests and gorges. Arrive in the city of Chandigarh that evening. Day 14: Chandigarh - Amritsar Following a packed breakfast, take the train to Amritsar. Day 15: Amritsar Enjoy a half-day city tour of Amritsar with a visit to the Golden Temple. After lunch you can undertake an optional excursion (at a fee) to the Indian-Pakistan border and witness the fascinating flag-lowering ceremony.
