14 day tour Walking in the Azores
Day 7: Flores – Terceira Fly to the island of Terceira. After checking in to your Praia da Vitoria hotel, there’s time to head out for a stroll before dinner. Day 8: Terceira Head north to Quatro Ribeiras and walk along the coast with marvellous views out to sea. Arrive at Biscoitos, where there is the chance to swim in the lava rock pools. Return to Praia da Vitoria via the Serra do Cume viewpoint. Day 9: Terceira – Sao Jorge Travel to the old town of Angra do Heroismo to explore its fort and narrow streets. Time allowing, there’s an optional walk before you fly to Sao Jorge. Day 10: Sao Jorge Enjoy a stunning walk starting from the 700m high ridge of Sao Jorge, leading you through the beautiful gorge of the Caldeira de Cima and down to the coast. Follow the rocky coastline to Faja dos Cubres. Day 11: Sao Jorge Enjoy a day at leisure or take an optional walk. Day 12: Sao Jorge - Faial Travel by ferry to the charming island of Faial. Enjoy free time to stroll the streets and harbour of Horta. Day 13: Ilha Azul Tour Ilha Azul by private bus. Head to the stunning Caldeira, then continue to the western end of the island to visit the Capelinhos volcano. Later, return to Horta. Day 14: Horta - UK Transfer to the airport for your flight home

Day 1: UK - Ponta Delgada Arrive in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel. Join a welcome meeting this evening. Day 2: Sao Miguel Travel to the north side of the island. Explore a tea factory, walk along the shores of Lagoa das Furnas, and enjoy a traditional Cozido lunch. Day 3: Sao Miguel Travel to the Sete Cidades volcano for a beautiful walk within and around this iconic crater. Day 4: Sao Miguel Enjoy a day at leisure or take an optional walk or whale- watching tour. Day 5: Sao Miguel - Flores Take a short flight to the island of Flores. There’s the option this afternoon of taking a boat trip to the tiny island of Corvo. Day 6: Flores Transfer to Fagjazinha and walk north, with views of the cliffs a constant to your left, then head inland towards the beautiful waterfall of Poco da Ribeira do Ferreiro. As you near Faja Grande there are small bathing areas which give you the chance to dip your feet.
