Day 5: Free day for optional activities Today is a free day for optional walks or sightseeing. There are several cable car excursions you can take from Chamonix, offering fantastic views of Mont Blanc and surrounding peaks. If you are feeling adventurous you could enjoy a tandem Paragliding flight. Day 6: Mont Blanc tunnel & the Bonatti refuge Drive through the Mont Blanc tunnel to Italy. From Arp Nouva, climb up and along to the Bonatti refuge, the view from here is one of the finest on the tour. Mont Blanc itself, the towering rocky peak of Grandes Jorasses, and the glaciers that crowd the northern flank of Val Ferret are there to be admired. Day 7: Lac Blanc & the Grand Balcon Sud This morning, take the gondola to La Flégère where you will start a circular walk to Lac Blanc that affords excellent views of the whole massif lying to the south. You will then descend to Lacs des Chéserys, where, on a still day, you will see photogenic views of the mountains reflected in the water. Day 8: Geneva - UK You will be transferred to Geneva for your flight back to London.

Day 1: UK - Chamonix Fly from London to Geneva where you will be met and transferred to your chalet in Chamonix. Day 2: L’Aiguillette des Posettes Your first walk of the week is on the slopes of the Col de Balme, from where you will have views back to Mont Blanc as well as into Switzerland. By late morning, reach Aiguilette des Possettes, where you are rewarded with a panoramic view over the Chamonix Valley, the Aiguille Rouge National Park, and around to Switzerland. Day 3: Carlaveyron Natural Reserve & Aiguillette des Houches Today, enjoy a spectacular walk from the Merlet Park up to the Bel Lachat refuge. Crossing the beautiful Carlaveyron Natural Reserve, summit the Aiguillette des Houches for one of the finest views in the Alps - looking directly across the Chamonix Valley to the Mont Blanc summit. Day 4: Les Contamines Valley Start your walk in Les Contamines Valley, where you will climb up towards the Passerelle de Bionnassay, a dramatic suspension bridge spanning a white-water stream that tumbles from the Bionnassay glacier a few 100 metres higher up.
