Managing risk is a fundamental and crucial part of every business, and as businesses evolve new risks can emerge. Good brokers have always worked in the risks management space, and today that approach is more valuable than ever before, given the increasingly dynamic world we’re living in, which is dominated by geopolitical challenges, natural disasters and cyber threats. By identifying those risks early, brokers add huge benefits to clients – and it’s a benefit that is highly valued. The research revealed that 89% of respondents who currently use a broker felt advice from brokers which identified new risks was helpful and valuable, while 98% of respondents took some form of action as a result.

TURNING INSIGHTS INTO ACTIONS

For brokers, this research clearly identifies what clients truly value, and provides insights that can be translated into areas of focus for your business over the coming months and years, too. There’s a significant opportunity for brokers to be present as the trusted insurance adviser throughout the lifecycle of a clients’ business – helping transform complexity into clarity.
