WDCGA Matchplay wrapped up for ANCC Divisions I and III at ANCC Fairfax on 22 May. Division III team members (pictured) Amy Hawkins, Margaret Ann Connors, Tina Gwilliam, Linda Nguyen, Pam Quinn, Danielle Hetzler and Jennifer Lednicky (not pictured) won 2 nd place. The tournament season kicks off with almost 100 women expected to play in the “June Cups” at Trump National GC on 11 June. With opportunities for all skill level members, players with an index of 12.4 and below will be competing for the Judi Enright Cup (sponsored by ANCC member Judi Enright). The Bennett-Pinehurst Tournament, a two-lady format traditionally held at International CC follows on 25 June. With 20 tournaments remaining, it’s not too late to join WDCGA. If/when your handicap index is 21.9 or below, you are eligible to join. Once a member, you may remain a member, if your index rises above 21.9. WGO-18: Women’s 18 Hole Golf
Rain or shine the WGO-18 season is well underway and members are enjoying meeting Tuesday and Friday mornings with a mixture of friendship, fun and more competitive tournaments throughout the season.
