Hybrid Software Announces Program For Packaging Summit Hybrid Software, a provider of packaging design and visual- ization software, has announced the program for its Fusion Packaging Summit, taking place April 20-22, 2026, at The Westin Sarasota, Florida. The agenda is tailored for pack- aging printers and converters, trade shops, brands, and consumer packaged goods companies, and features guest speakers from companies including Amazon, Diageo, and Blue Label Packaging. A full lineup of industry experts and vendor partners including Arden Software, BOBST, Domino, Global Vision, HiFlow Solutions, HP, Koenig & Bauer, and XSYS rounds out the content for the event. A key focus of the Fusion Summit will be real-world case studies from brands and converters. Blue Label Packaging will share how it has built a highly automated production environment that maximizes print efficiency and leverag- es AI to close gaps in expertise. Diageo will showcase its workflow for direct-to-shape printing of spirits brands in retail settings, and Amazon will explain the impact of its Transparency program on printed labels and packaging. FTA Opens Applications For Scholarships The Foundation of the Flexographic Technical Association (FFTA) has opened that applications for the 2026 FFTA Scholarship and the Gary Hilliard FQC Scholarship. Both scholarships provide a $3,000 award to support students pursuing education and career opportunities in flexogra- phy and graphic communications. The FFTA Scholarship is available to high school se- niors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who have demonstrated an interest in flexography and/ or graphic communications. The scholarship supports stu- dents preparing to enter the industry and helps strengthen the future workforce of flexographic printing. The Gary Hilliard FQC Scholarship honors a student who will develop and execute a flexography-focused proj- ect meant to advance flexographic printing. This scholar- ship encourages hands-on learning and innovation while honoring Hilliard’s lasting impact on the industry.
