Located in Weld County, the Carbon Valley region includes the Towns of Frederick and Firestone and the City of Dacono. Our Fire District proudly serves Frederick, Firestone, and several unincorporated areas of Weld County — covering roughly 38 square miles and protecting more than 42,000 residents. Frederick and Firestone are among the fastest-growing communities in Colorado, with annual growth rates of 7% respectively. As the area expands, the District is actively planning for increased service demands, larger response areas, and rising call volumes. Currently, the District is building a Training & Maintenance Facility, scheduled for completion in the summer of 2026, and is actively planning to break ground on Fire Station No. 6 in the fall of 2026, along with additional staffing. As an ISO-2, the District is working to keep up with community growth and is planning for an ISO-1 in 2029. We work hand-in-hand with local municipalities to ensure our residents receive the highest level of emergency services and community support. Today, the District is home to a dedicated team of 94 full-time professionals — and we’re looking for talented individuals to join us.
