Section 5 Autonomous Flight Skills Mission, continued
The intent of the 3 runs during a 5 minute period is to allow teams to complete a run, make minor adjustments on their code, complete a 2nd run and then if time allows, make more adjustments to their code and complete a 3rd run. SCORING The referee will score the match while the drone is flying. Teams may attempt tasks in any order. It is recommended that the referee verbally confirms tasks that are successfully completed by the drone as it goes through the course; for example, by saying aloud “Through the keyhole gate,” or “Completed arch gate loop” as the task is scored. It is recommended that the co-pilot of the team stand next to the referee to confirm these tasks as they happen.
