Section 5 Autonomous Flight Skills Mission, continued AUTONOMOUS FLIGHT MISSION SCORING DEFINITIONS <AM2> Take off. The drone has lifted entirely off the ground at the beginning of the match. This can only be earned once per match. <AM3> Under arch gate. The drone is considered to have flown under the arch gate once the entire drone has cleared the arch gate. <AM4> Arch gate loop. To complete an arch gate loop, the drone must complete the following tasks in order before attempting any other tasks :
1. Earn points for flying under an arch gate (rule <AM3>) . 2. Fly around the same arch gate in the opposite direction . 3. Fly through the same arch gate again in the same direction as step #1 .
<AM5> Through keyhole gate. The drone is considered to be through the keyhole gate once the entire drone has cleared the gate. <AM6> Keyhole loop. To complete an keyhole gate loop, the drone must complete the following tasks in order before attempting any other tasks :
1. Earn points for flying through a keyhole gate (rule <AM5>) . 2. Fly around the same keyhole gate in the opposite direction . 3. Fly under the same keyhole gate again in the same direction as step #1 .
<AM7> Identify the color of a color mat. Using programming code the drone must:
1. Use the color sensor to identify the color of the mat. 2. Use programming code to change the drone light color to reflect the color of the mat the drone is on (mat 1 or mat 2). 3. Each mat can only be identified once per match. If you are using a Parrot Mambo, you will not be able to complete this task because the drone does not have a color sensor.
Note: When completing an arch gate or keyhole gate loop, step 1 is to fly under or through the gate. Teams will earn points for completing that step. Teams that continue on to complete steps 2 and 3 will also earn the loop points.
