Section 5 Autonomous Flight Skills Mission, continued
The GDC recognizes that teams are not able to earn points for landing without using the color sensor first. This was intentional.
Note: In cases where a drone’s position is “too close to call,” teams will be given the “benefit of the doubt,” and the points awarded for the landing. Head Referees will not be expected or required to check imperceptibly small measurements.
<AM9> Repeating tasks. Teams may repeat the arch gate and keyhole gate tasks to earn additional points, but may not use the same field element twice in a row.
Examples: Yes: Complete a loop around the red arch gate, complete a loop around the yellow keyhole gate, and then return to the red arch gate to complete a new loop.
Yes: Fly under the red arch gate, fly under the blue arch gate, and then fly under the red arch gate again.
No: Doing loops around the same arch gate over and over.
No: Flying back and forth under the same arch gate.
