<AM12> Pilot station. During Autonomous Flight Missions and Piloting Skills Missions, the pilot/programmer and co-pilot must remain in the pilot station, which is approximately 10 feet long and 2 feet wide. (Figure 46)

<AM13> Visual observer station. During Autonomous Flight Missions, the visual observer may walk (not run) around the perimeter of the field to:
a. Make notes about drone performance to improve future runs . b. Retrieve the drone . c. Catch the drone in case of an emergency stop .
Visual observers should keep in mind that walking near the drone during flight MAY cause interference/ wind drafts which could affect the performance. We highly recommend you walk slowly and make small movements to reduce the chances of affecting airflow.
