Michael Drury Managing Director, LucidCatalyst

Michael Drury is a Managing Director at LucidCatalyst, with a distinguished career in the nuclear industry. He has previously held the position of Managing Director at two reactor vendors developing Gen IV reactors. Michael has represented the UK government on SMR and AMR at the International Atomic Energy Agency and led significant programmes on Gen III+ and Gen IV reactors at the UK’s National Nuclear Laboratory. He also chaired the UK Molten Salt Technology Platform and currently serves on the board of Midlands Nuclear in the UK. Michael has provided written and oral evidence to the Science and Technology Select Committee and has been an expert speaker at the All Party Parliamentary Group for both Nuclear and APPG SMR. He has played a crucial role in public perception development for modular reactors in the UK and has collaborated closely with HM Treasury and DESNZ on developing UK policy for nuclear. In academia, Michael is a fellow at the University of Liverpool on the Zero Power reactor programme. He has developed engineering solutions and managed major projects such as Chernobyl NSC, ITER Fusion programme, Magnox decommissioning, and reactor operations on the existing fleet of AGR and PWR reactors in the UK. Before his nuclear career, Michael spent nearly a decade in the automotive industry at Jaguar Land Rover, focusing on volume production vehicles. His recent work has centred on the volume production of advanced modular reactors and the development of clean, net-zero solutions power solutions for industrial application such as Datacentres, chemical, oil and gas, hydrogen and ammonia plants.

David Cottingham CTO, IQGeo

David is an accomplished technologist with over 20 years of experience leading engineering and product teams in global software organisations. Before joining IQGeo, he was CPTO at an AIM-listed software firm and spent over a decade at Citrix Systems. His leadership spans SaaS platforms, developer ecosystems, mobile applications, IoT hardware and operating systems. David holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and is a respected advocate for scalable, secure and innovative product architectures.

Juliette Scott Senior Manager, All IP Migrations & Exchange Exit, Openreach

Juliette has been in the telecoms industry for 26 years since graduating from Lincoln University. She has worked in most areas of BT Group, and in Openreach for the last 16 years. Juliette is currently responsible for CP and Industry engagement within the WLR withdrawal and Exchange Exit Programmes – with special interests of Telecare and DSIT strategy. Juliette is from the North East of England, has 3 teenage daughters, a husband and 2 cats. Juliette has recently announced that she will be leaving Openreach in June to explore new and interesting opportunities.
