Was lot 3 in last year’s sale. I got more calls on this bull than any other bull in the offering before sale day. The day before the sale this bull cut his back leg and we had to remove him from the offering. We decide to bring him back so that anyone who missed their chance last year won’t miss it this year. He had the highest yearling and weaning weight of last year’s bulls.

YRA Buckshot 499M is a very attractive bull out of the Coleman Donna 4266. Coleman Donna 4266’s full sibling sold for $27,000 in 2023 and over $100,000 in 2024. Buckshot 499M is a Shoot First son on Donna 4266. The daughters out of 4266 are very protective of their calves they will keep coyotes at bay and whoever tags calves on there toes. (We used Buckshot 499M as a clean up bull in our own program in the summer of 2025.)
We wrap up the sale with a bull out of Duff Real Deal. While this bull is in the top 19% for CED I’d be hesitant to use him on heifers as he had a 79LBS actual BW off of a heifer and it was one of the larger birth weights I had off heifers that year.
