Sumter Packaging also expanded locally with the ad- dition of a 57,000-square-foot shipping center next door to its current 115,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. The shipping center was recently upgraded to eight dock doors and digitized inventory control with barcoding tech- nology to improve efficiency and traceablility.
