Functional Exercise Functional Exercise: An activity designed to evaluate capabilities and multiple functions using simulated response. A functional exercise will typically simulate the deployment of resources and rapid problem solving. Participants will evaluate management of the command and coordination centres and assess the adequacy of emergency response plans and resources. Full Scale Exercise Full-Scale Exercise : an activity involving establishment of an Incident Command Post and actual deployment of field resources in a coordinated response, as if a real emergency had occurred. A full-scale exercise is often a multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional exercise conducted in conjunction with external agencies and stakeholders. 2.1.8 Continuing Education The Stakeholder Engagement Procedure supports educating the affected public and Public Officials in the frequency indicated in the table below and serves as a two-way communication between the company and public.

2.1.9 Policy and Commitment

We are committed to respond, in the safest and most efficient manner possible, to emergency situations affecting the health and safety of the public, employees, facilities, and the environment. We shall, through our emergency procedures, respond to all emergencies involving our facilities and our service to customers. The procedures contained within this manual will be followed and applied as necessary, depending on the nature of the incident.

The procedures in this manual comply with applicable laws, industry, and legal codes of practice.

We recognize that it is the responsibility of all employees to apply this policy in the event of an emergency.

2.1.10 Stakeholder Liaison to Prepare for Emergencies Engagement with emergency responders occurs in regular meetings and trainings to discuss and prepare for emergency response. These meetings are also used to confirm current and correct contact information and calling priorities.
